Cabin Remodel
There are not enough words to say how fun and unique this charming home is. The woman who built this home designed it to function perfectly for her needs and style. With very little square footage and a unique floorplan this home was a fun challenge to recreate!
The kitchen required a complete redesign. We moved the stove from the side wall to the back wall to be the focal point of the room. We pushed back the wall in the kitchen to give enough space for a small island that could double as a dining table in the small space! We made room for a dishwasher, upgraded the sink, sanded and re-stained the lower cabinets, changed the countertops, and added floating shelves!
All of the unique elements, such as the faux headers above the window and door and the German smeared stone backsplash add to the coziness of the space!
In the rest of the house, we replaced the old carpet with luxury vinyl planks, painted the walls, ceilings, and trim, and added built-ins in the living room to make the space more functional. The wood burning stove got a small face-lift that made the area around it feel more cohesive!
This project has a few more rooms before we wrap it up. We are excited to see the finished product!
